So much posting going on about discoveries from their "very important investigations"<ggg> and no thought regarding management statements...

Recently an article was written about AZNT and posters. Mike Sylvers is quoted as saying,

Message-board users have also taken issue with other predictions by Amazon Natural. In press releases, the company predicted annual sales of $75 million in 1998, $125 million in 1999 and $250 million in 2000. Mr. Sylver says the actual sales figure for 1998 is "around $800,000." He says the bulk of the company's sales come from orders placed directly to the company.

Take time thinking about this statement and how it reflects with the recently filed 10K. Actual figures per the filing are half of what Sylvers was quoted as saying recently.

For those of you in business, how many do not know what sales actually were for 1998 by the first week of January?
The company has a computer system...in fact the company has quite a bit invested in computers for a company so small.

Why would the CEO say sales were double what they actually were months later?

Why did the company file reports as filed?

Why are the posters more concerned about their battles on RB
and once again allow statements by management to go unquestioned? It is not wise to do so...
