Let me remind everyone that Chelsea Clinton went to Sidwell Friends to the tune of $14,000/year while the Gores prefer St. Albans which I imagine costs the same. Yet these are the same people fighting charter/voucher schools and unleashing the Office for Civil Rights of the Dept. of Education to wreak havoc with its affirmative action qoutas. But they will be the first to admit that they have some very close & personal minority friends. One must to be a hip liberal. I don't know if Marian Wright Edelman is speaking to them after the President abandoned her on welfare reform. Mr. Edelman resigned his post in the administration in protest. Heavens, welfare recipients were never cut out for work and personal accountability. The nerve of the President!
