Be my guest, and thank you for the acknowledgement. I have enjoyed and found much value in your posts and want to take this opportunity to say so.
P.S. Yes I read the book, found it one of the best on the subject of investing. As a recent busines book, only second to The Innovator's Dilemma

This sounds good too>

The whole message by Roberts kind of baffles me.

First, his revenue model contained a material typo.

Second, the shortage problem with components is not as significant as he suggested. Don't you think their
suppliers want to make more money??

Third, additional handset capacity will be assumed by the departure of Sony from the NA handset market.
No charge to QCOM, thank you very much!!

Fourth, QCOM is on target to increase their handset production from 600,000 phones per month to
1,000,000 phones per month by the end of the year.

Fifth, QCOM is the only stock that I can find trading with a PEG less than 1 (based on the EPS growth for
this quarter.)

Sixth, Dorsey Wright and Co. said the stock was acting very similar to INTC when Merrill Lynch came out
with their downgrades. He expects that QCOM will prove First Union wrong.

Seventh, the stock pulled back to the mid point of the trading range. If you think you can buy the stock at
$150, good luck buying the stock at a 35 PE for next year.

Peace!!

Dumb Q, but isn't the real hidden good news that CDMA technology is being adopted at a fast rate? Isn't this where Q will earn very fat profit margins?
