If deal falls through,,,FRO will probably have other suitors. mike Global Crossing Adds To Frontier Pact NEW YORK (Reuters) - Global Crossing Ltd (Nasdaq:GBLX - news). Thursday again sweetened its pact to buy local and long distance telephone company Frontier Corp. (NYSE:FRO - news), this time offering about $10 billion after a decline in its stock price eroded much of the premium it previously offered to pay. Global Crossing said it now will pay approximately $10 billion, or 2.05 shares of its stock for each Frontier share in exchange for a commitment from Frontier to spurn other potential suitors. Under the terms of the previous agreement, Global Crossing would have exchanged 1.8229 shares of its stock for each Frontier share.
