From Raging Bull--url below Hey Guys--My broker (Everen Securities) woke me up this morning to tell me that their was a rumor of downward earnings revision. I told him that was impossible they have already made the quarter. He just called me back after he read the announcement from Everen's own analysist. The report basically says that ""Everen is comfortable that Q will make the quarterly number of $0.88 but he cautions investors that he doesn't think that Q is capable of beating the number as much as the prior quarter."" This is not a negative comment. It is saying that he doesn't feel Q will surprise the street by as much as the 47% they did last quarter. There is also a rumor on the Yahoo board that Q has a quality problem with one of their phones. I just talked to an engineer this morning and he said there is no such quality problem at all. ragingbull.com
