chalu2, if you will read my earlier reply again I think you will see that I was responding to a question presented to me. In my answer I said that "In theory" pre-marital counseling could cut down the divorce rate. This was the point I was trying to make. And the parental counseling thought I added, did not mention governmental involvement. The point I was trying to make is that if people would give much more consideration to marriage and being parents, maybe there would be less problems in these areas. And I feel that people should be responsible without government intervention. I can only speak for myself. I do not necessarily agree with every opinion of other people I have communicated with.
