Suffering? Actually I am suffering hip pain right now and even that might have something to do with the govt.! However If we had a Libertarian society: There would be more and faster cures to diseases, because of free market research. I personally would be able to buy land and do what I want with it! What a concept: read some of the Pacific Legal Foundation material to see the many cases where people's lives have been ruined because of the inability to use their own land. I would be able to buy the kind of health insurance I want and use the doctors I wish to. I would be able to have the weapons I want without fear of having my home broken into by the government and use those weapons to defend myself and my loved ones. Do you need more? I am beginning to think perhaps answering you is a waste of time so this is my last answer to you. I'll leave you to someone else. The bottom line is FORCE... we live under a regime (indeed the whole world does) of force...not choice in our lives.
