Well, it's that kind of "observations" that get people sued for harrassment and racism. Such as "observing" that members of a certain race predominate in our prison system and moving from that to the conclusion that they are as a race more violent and criminal than other races. Or "observing" that women don't make as much money as men and concluding that they aren't worth as much. There are observations, and there are conclusions from those observations. When you do the former only, you are observing. When you do the latter, as I think you did, you go beyond observing to drawing conclusions from those observations. You have to be a lot more careful when you do that.
