ASTN shareholder meeting today.... by all accounts was a knockout in terms of the vision, confidence and competancy displayed by the ASTN team. Also 85k volume (crossed) on their VWAP trading system today (which is being tested with 20 B/D). Here are links to some summaries of the meeting: Fred R., CEO of ASTN and former COO of Instinet, seems to have the future of markets mapped our pretty clearly and is confident ASTN will be there (not just US but Canada, China [Chinese delegation present at meeting] and Hong Kong). By the end of the year should be trading top 300 NYSE stock and soon adding the top 100 NASDAQ..... also VWAP trading at close and possibly intra-day VWAP too..... Oh yes... the links...
