Parts shortage hits the other scenario of market share and making big impact in the consumer market with hit handset.

I think that the news was put out by management--intentionally--before the analyst meeting. If they waited, it would be the only story coming out of the meeting; all the analysts would say sell. This way, better focus on the future at the meeting and it may be more substantive.
