Cellstar, supposed distributor of G* phones, does not list them on their site, nor on their product catalog pages in their Advanced Order System. Beta versions are not for sale I guess. With such a low number of handsets for sale this year, and early next year, I guess everyone is saving money by keeping it a secret as to how we should order one. Why bother?

You can use the G* part anywhere(at least where they have a license, and a functional gateway), but I am sure there will have to be roaming agreements to allow you to use the GSM or CDMA terrestrial parts. That's all I meant.

As to the helpful web site--don't worry--the service providers will take care of it! They are veterans at marketing LEO satellite telephony--oh wait--this is their first time. Ok, so they are wireless experts. But wait, I don't think the mining, timber, oil, parks, etc. were EVER clients of theirs. Oh well, sat phones, bat phones, thinphones, whatever--it's all the same. Right Maurice?

P.S. Hi Carol!
