Jeff,

AMD should be already
shipping their
700 MHz version so when Intel announces a Pentium III 650, AMD will be right there with a 700 speed
grade.

Where do you see a 650 MHz Pentium III? Craig Barrett said this week the first production Coppermines would come out with a first digit of 7 with respect to clock frequency. I don't think he meant 70, or 7,000 MHz. The dates are looking like chips to OEMs 9/27 and systems for sale 10/24. Any Athlon firm, or even playdough consistency dates for systems?
