There was interesting talk on Bloomberg this morning. Although the Nikkei was down the broader based Topix managed a small gain. This is because smart money is looking out for companies less dependent on the exchange rate i.e. companies who are serving the Japanese domestic market.

I believe that we are now starting to see the makings of a deeper recovery and not just limited to the well known Japanese international stocks - who will be more correlative to the DJIA and who will be more sensitive to the Yen level.
