CRSC follow up--trading below cash and no debt.
Thank you for your thoughtful message. With CRSC trading at less than half the value of cash and marketable securities, there have to be some negatives. I think the primary one is that although revenues have increased in the past few quarters, the company does not expect the same increase this quarter. Another loss can be expected. At the same time, the Company indicates that they are taking steps to reduce overhead. After cutting costs, they are looking to break even next year. Even if they don't, the burn rate is low enough to keep them financially sound for a while. On the litigation front, I view the fact that they obtained insurance coverage as a positive, because it reduces financial exposure. I track a number of stocks that trade at or near cash value, but this one really stands out on a value basis. If nothing else, a biotech company that has testing needs could buy them for cash value, and you would still double your money. Right now, I think the biggest downside is the lack of a catalyst to draw interest. Other cash rich companies that are starting to move include BITS and AMLJ, and I would appreciate any thoughts you have about them.
