Well everyone didnt go broke in the 30's...government workers did ok: some of my uncles who worked for the government saved half their salaries for years because prices were so low!!! I just came from a trip to Alaska: the government has stolen so much land from Alaska its sick: and now there are almost as many govt workers there as private workers..but govt doesnt produce anything so...... doesnt sound economically (or any other way either) healthy to me...and it makes people dependent on the status quo
