Paul, Re: What does he tell his boss when his boss asks to see the new "ATHLON systems" in action?

Ask him to try www.tomshardware.com or www.anandtech.com :-)

<Imagine the Corporate hot-shot who just ordered up a bunch of MSI-6167 Athlon Motherboards and a couple dozen Athlons to stick in them - for "evaluation"!

What does he tell his boss when his boss asks to see the new "ATHLON systems" in action?>

I can see that your imagination is very fertile. Now, coming back to planet earth - Which Fortune 1000 company are you aware of that buys motherboards and CPUs for evaluating what systems to deploy for their workforce?

When a tier 1 OEM puts a system on the street, they put their reputation behind it. Customers buy Dell, Compaq, IBM, Gateway, HP and the like for a reason. If they choose to put Athlon in a Corporate system, it is because they believe they can sell it.
