Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrgggghhhhh! I thought Ish was older! I don't want the title, you can keep it. It'll be your turn soon enough!

On skiing, we don't need no namby pamby lifts. No couchy whoosy high speed multiquad thingamabobs, no sissy wissy sit on your butt and get hauled up the gentle side of the mountain easy-way-up-stuff for us. We are real men, we are. We only need snow, on a mountain. Any mountain will do. I was thinking of Jefferson, myself. Hood is too flat. I remember viewing Jeff on the rare clear day from Hood, looking like one very steep jose on its North face. Besides there are crevasses in the ice fields on Hood. We lost an instructor one year, when I was working up there. Skied into a crevasse he did. What a way to go!

Rainer is good. But pretty far. Crystal Mountain is the ski area just to the West of Rainer. Bach or the Sisters would be good, if they have any snow left. We've flown into Sunriver before. Maybe we'll just stop at Shasta or Lassen. Shasta is sure to have some left.
