I think the Star Division thing is great, but for overall impact on SUNW my votes are for Java, Jini, and UltraSPARC III first silicon. JMHO, of course.

Yes JC, my reaction is similar to yours. The significance of what Sunw has done will take a while to sink in to the corporate psyche but for us who have been following it, the introduction of the Star Portal does seem to usher in the paradigm shift. Where is the office? It is anywhere you can be connected via high speed access to the internet. Where are your fellow workers? They can be anywhere in the world so long as they are connected via a high speed access to the internet. Anywhere, anyone, anytime, anydevice is starting to sink in. All the best, Michael
