Perhaps you are right that there is " too much fiber in the 'bone and none
to the home." Perhaps it's inevitable that CSCO, LU, and NT are headed for the junk heap, but then again, that's just an opinion after all. It makes some sense to me, but only time will tell. Frankly, as long as we get the info. and entertainment to the home I'll be happy. Of course, knowing with certainty that what you say is true would be of great help to an investor.

I have followed this thread for the past couple of weeks. I am very intrigued with your thought's on optical. I also agree with your fusion example. So i would like to know how long do you think Optical will last before the needs of the masses or the needs of the tech outweighs the data transmission method?

Many people out there feel that cable is the end all be all to BB. I myself like to look beyond and see what the next best thing is. It wont stop at Optical, what is after that???
