I believe Rome has been given permission to go there in the year 2000. It will be interesting to see what the pope has up his sleeve. Some say he is planning an "inclusive" Mass that would include all manner of non-Catholics and non-Christians, something along the lines of his Assisi Mass a few years ago when he invited Buddhists, animists and other assorted pagans to assist at Mass.
