AFTER THE BELL- Stocks quiet, Qualcomm slightly up
NEW YORK, Sept 1 (Reuters) -

Shares of wireless communications company Qualcomm Inc. (Nasdaq:QCOM - news) regained more than a point in after-hours trade after a 13 percent drop in the share price during the regular session, traders said.

Qualcomm traded at 170 after the bell, up from a closing price of 168-11/16 but off a 52-week high of 198-5/8. The daytime drop in price followed a report from Everen Securities that Qualcomm should beat earnings targets but not by as much as it had in the past.
