Dear Unclewest, I have just been listening to Pat Gelsinger's keynote speech on Tuesday. If you go to www.intel.com/design/idf you can request a webcast replay. I suggest using the audio only on realplayer...much, much quicker since I don't yet have broadband internet access and a Rambus equipped computer. He stresses that Intel has now available: 1. 14 RDRAM Products 2. 46 RIMM Modules for Rambus 3. 5 Validated Rambus suppliers 4. Announced Rambus Implementer's forum 5. He was demonstrating an 800 Mhz Rambus computer showing its graphical advantages and other advantages that were not graphical such as a topical search through his Feb 99 Keynote speech allowing instant visual/audio access to any specific topic at any point in the speech. IT SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS NO WAVERING ON INTEL'S PART ON SUPPORTING RAMBUS. AGAIN REITERATED THEY ARE INTRODUCING RAMBUS THIS FALL< 820,Coppermine, Etc.> THEY KNOW IT IS ESSENTIAL TO THEIR PROGRESS.
