GV -
What you say has been true in the past, but I have been using the RC1 release of Windows2000 for about 3 months, both on my desktops and laptop, and it is more reliable and stable than NT4 with any service pack - I have a workstation with NT4 SP5 which is now dual boot and I would never run the NT4 version any more - the Win2K is so much more stable and easier to use, not to mention faster.

I think this may be a different quality standard than past MS product releases.
