If I had been one of the fools who blindly listened to the Forbes article saying short at 84, I would be thanking God for this opportunity to close out that deadly position. I bet we do get a lot more shorting on this news to carry us down into the 70's in next couple days, if not today. I think volitility is going to increase from here until the 27th when Dell and Compaq ship. It should bounce nicely on that news.

Does it matter that things haven't changed from your previous perceptions? What matters is that things have changed from the previous perceptions of the current owners of the stock. They seem to be looking for new ones based on their new perceptions, no?
