you can short 3 days after the ipo. you can even short otc bb stocks. call for a better broker or your broker has you restricted (i wonder why)

I am long on MDCM but you are wrong about shorting MDCM. Yes you can short it. IT is very easy. Shorts are good for a stock if it is a good stock. I like MDCM for it business plan and the fact that INTU has bought 9% of the float. They do not spend their money foolishly and I think I will go along with them on this investment. Good trading to all and remember short or long it is only a stock nothing more. BTW: I bought NTCT for $18 the other day and I am doing very well on it as you can see. I think MDCM has the potential to do just as well if not better. dawg
