COO.. and the "Dead Zone" after earnings reports.

I've been following up the earnings plays more and we will be expanding that area as well, with John and his analysis.. Just look at COO since earnings trading at 23 and getting to 27 in just a few days. Again not like HLIT but enough the the "COO's" every week and it is very good trading to have the best of both worlds. Same thing happened with ELBO,even HOTJ if you remember by mentioning it only days before it sprung to life. Now HOTJ, COO, all up up nicely just days after the earnings report.

CMVT>>>RESEARCH ALERT-Comverse target, EPS estimate upped they can't all be like CMVT and INTU but there is a 'dead zone' of stocks like ELBO, PUMA, COO that we are not tapping. But I've already discussed with some others and we will be following these as well as the IPO's. PHCM might be good for a trade, but would you leave home with it? I wouldn't. Neither with EFNT, CMTN, or all those that are up one day and give it all back the next.

Kendall, there is a 'dead zone' right after some earnings reports, usually its when the price is a bit depressed. Sometimes there is little anticipation because the stock has a low beta and is not too active.. Same exact thing happened with COO last quarter. I will be following up on this 'dead zone'
