Charles Boucher at Bear Stearns upped his price target for INTC to $100 this morning and raised his earnings estimates to $2.75 for 2000.

Boucher is new at Bear. Andy Neff used to handle Intel. Wasn't Boucher at another firm and not nearly so positive?

RD: As far as productive capacity and know how (through LEVL) INTC has to be right up there. But there are many other companies in this network comm. field who are great in specific areas BRCM ,MMNC,GALT and others come to mind. However these smaller companies do not have the fab. capacity and the research budgets and therefore are likely to be gobbled up by the larger players for their niche know how. They therefore are great prospects fundamentally as well being acquisition targets. JFD
