Mike, i agree with that...i actually like FRO myself. i merely wanted to point out that IF a crash is coming, everything will be dumped regardless of how good the underlying story is. the sole exception are gold shares, as the underowned and neglected asset classes tend to attract money in the wake of major financial accidents.
however, crashes are rare, and since many people are on crash alert right now (the parallels between today's market and those of '29 and '87 have been noticed by a great many commentators by now), we may not get a crash after all. perhaps the market will confound the bears AGAIN, though it seems high time for significant downturn. it mostly depends on whether the European and Japanese institutions will panic or not imo.
