< prediction of potentially sustained NG prices of $5.00/mcf this winter....>

The ''man'' has spoken...

I've run some #'s on what just $2.45 mcf would do for these micro's compared to say RRC's realized $1.94 mcf ytd...
We are in a ''can't lose'' Nat Gas environment folks... anything over $2.45 is literally extremely bullish... we are in high profit land here in the $2.60's let alone $3.00 +

... also, $2.75 mcf - $3.00 mcf and I used a 45 day avg of $4.00 mcf.... if this occurs and I think it will; this will be WINDFALL $ from heaven.... the e&p's will be smart, they will pay down debt and this will allow multiple expansion via eliminating the weakness in their financials - which keeps the analysts from more fully valuing them at normal historic valuation multiples...

2 words; GO GAS !

Doug, Coastal is making a big bet on NG both onshore in S. Tex and in the Gulf.

When asking the Texaco WW Drlg Mgr about activity, his repsonse was we are gong to take the rest of this year to heal our balance sheets while reassessing all of our projects in light of the current pricing. Expect to see activity pick up late this year and next.

Good luck.

Sunny
