Thanks for the insight JDN. With high intangibles, unless the assumptions are spelled out clearly, then it is nigh impossible to adjust the numbers to a comparable basis. I think the FASB is well intentioned. When money is a primary concern, I find company executives too often set asides good morals and high ethics. There remain a lot of degrees of freedom to color the books...it boils down to good management practices and clear communications with shareholders; or otherwise. Best regards, m
