A true republic where a state that desired could allow freedom would be nice. we kind of had it once here but no longer. True, then I could get together my Lib friends and move there: we have thought about it, even moving abroad, but there is no state, no where else, where there is freedom. Too bad for me. States rights are all but dead in this country, although some states occasionally on some issues try to resurrect it. Mostly the states have been bought off because of the redistribution of money, esp taxes. Freeus
