re:"good luck with stinkin' ATYT which doesn't move"

That was the line of thinking that had me dump some of my AAPL shares in the 40's. I got impatient because the stock wasn't moving, even though it deserved a higher price. Every dog has its day.

-OT- Investing strategies.

I think over time, we tend to learn what works for us and what we're comfortable with. For example, I tend to be fairly conservative in my approach. With a handful of exceptions, I don't buy stocks that are not profitable. That limits my losses, but I also don't get the 3month-10-bagger that some people are so happy about. But I do ok.

If you have a different strategy, and it works for you, then I have no right to make fun of it. As long as you make money, you must be doing the right thing. You might come back later and try to make me feel miserable if GBIX is 10x or 2x of what it is today. And hey, more power to you.

Since ATYT is tanking, you must be right today.

But I try to apply what makes me comfortable, and I haven't done too badly. I could do much better, but I could also do much worse. Most days, I'm ahead. This last couple of weeks haven't been too great.

Maybe I should reexamine what I'm doing wrong, or perhaps just stuck with my earlier hunch that I should take all money off the table until Jan 2000. But I'll miss the volumes of glossy annual reports that I get so much :-).

oh, ya, ScaredButHopeful, I went to IMCL in January for on-site due diligence - no profits there either, but stock gone from $10 to over $30 -- good luck with stinkin' ATYT which doesn't move

Duh, guess I'm pretty dumb, eh?
