80-90 percent of the trading volume was over by 1 pm.

Seeing a lot of semiconductor stocks moving up followed by some communications hardware stocks.

Matt,

>>>> I am having a hard time believing what I am seeing with the NDX-- in the absence of large selling this puppy is drifting up (in spite of terrible news and liquidity). What is this thing going to do when the market gets a little bullish? I'm scratching my head. What's with the T/A on this thing? <<<<

The best way I can explain it is SECTOR ROTATION, which I believe the BIG BOYs and GIRLs are playing it/manipulating it beautifully. They take the money out of one sector and put it in another and hope to lure the momentum into the sector they just infused with capital. Since this is such a momentum market, this technique has been used and successful since APRIL, thats 5 months already.

I also feel that this sector rotation is an anomoly which still has not been corrected. How much longer can it last this way - who knows but it is getting a bit long.
