Selective Paralysis
By James J. Cramer

9/2/99 10:25 AM ET

What would Martin Frankel make of this market? I bet he would be paralyzed. Oh, he was paralyzed by everything anyway.

Me, I am sticking bids in. Just got hit on some Gateway (GTW:NYSE). Snipped off a little Sun Micro (SUNW:Nasdaq). Like they would ever send the good ones down big.

I am Frankel-ing the banks -- meaning doing nothing. I am watching smart guys blowing out Nasdaq 100 puts and thinking it is probably right to grab some Cisco (CSCO:Nasdaq) that I blew out when it bought Cerent.

And I am buying more Intel (INTC:Nasdaq) and kicking myself that I sold any Micron (MU:NYSE) at the opening. I am totally Frankel-ed on Nortel Networks (NT:NYSE).
