Unclewest:
I loaded up my last aliquot of RMBS this morning and am ready to rock with 9/27. I wonder how many didn't catch on to the head fake put on by MM's this morning. I count less than 100K shorts able to cover below 88. I bought Calls; sold PUTs and bought shares. LOL. I starting to get immune to the jerky downlegs. I has able to afford today's buys from short bank index and S&P index. I see additional trouble in the market that shouldn't effect RMBS unless Samsung declares bancrupcy.

". The rambus story not only looks intact, it seems more solid than it was last week!

jack,
agree 110%.
we now know a lot more...this was all confirmed this week.

rmbs pc's from dell, cpq and hp coming this month. all with the camino chipset. dell made several huge rmbs support statements. sept 26 remains rambus Christmas.

intel has 14 rambus products...i would love to see the entire list.

the laptop transition will be straight from sdram 100 to rdram...totally by-passing pc133 because pc133 uses too much power and is too hot. i get the most satisfaction out of that one. earlier this year the shorts argued daily that this would never happen.

intel is very happy with coppermine and the yields. in fact we were all expecting coppermine in nov or later...now we have a release date, oct 25. we will see a broad range of rambus products then.

rambus starts in workstations and high-end pc's from dell, hp, and cpq this month no intermediate step. rmbs in laptops with no intermediate step. rambus in graphics chips, pixelfusion and one unannounced. not verified this week but acer has promised rmbs in affordable computers this year.

San Jose, Calif., August 8, 1999 - SiTera© Incorporated, a pioneer in Intelligent Network Processing, today announced the SiTera Network Acceleration Platform?, a flexible network processing chipset and software system that speeds the development of next-generation high-speed networking equipment. The network processor component of this platform provides data rate capabilities up to OC-48 and is scalable to terabit class systems. The advanced timing optimization features of Saturn, an integral part of Avant!'s Milkyway-based SinglePass VDSM solution, played a key role in SiTera achieving exceptional performance in its network processor.

"To meet the stringent requirements of networking equipment, SiTera needed to provide a solution that pushed the performance boundaries of system-on-chip technology. Other tools in the marketplace were unable to meet the requirements of SiTera's design flow," said Steve Flannery, president and CEO of SiTera. "Avanti's Saturn tool enabled us to leap beyond the current limitations and quickly produce our network processor with all the performance parameters we required."
