You're right Charlie, but they've not only not advertised it, they've protected each others revenues streams by telling you you had to go to your bank and have your bank wire the funds to them...then they each charge you a wire transfer fee of about 25 bucks... one an outbound and one an inbound

Their collection departments have always been able to ACH an account or charge another banks cc to get payments, and they do it day in and day out.

E*Trade also has this on their website. I believe they use First Virtual (VirtualPay) for it. You need to set it up by mailing a void check and short form application, then you can transfer any amount (up to $25,0000) from any bank you have set up and it arrives 1 - 2 days later. You still need a local bank to receive your deposits and they will need to sit still for up to 10 days if they are large and the bank does not recognize them as good funds quicker. Helps solve the online bank deposit problem, but not all the way yet.
