I say that today was just another chip on the shoulder!!

I am tempted to agree with you about the spy thingy, in-as-much as I don't see a catalyst for a down move we may just keep moving sideways. As TB says, it may come tomorrow AM with the release of the employment numbers.

The problem I have is that the daily chart on OEX has a sell signal with the stochastics turned down n e g a t i v e. Very seldom does the k value leave 80 without crossing under 20. This is why I conclude that we will break the HS pattern to the downside.

I was tempted to move back in long with the 401K this afternoon, but- I just don't have a buy signal after my last sell signal!!! TB and I beat it up every which way and concluded that its a crap shoot either way. Usually I's de one that gets crapped on...

I guess we could move sideways for a few more days, but my feeling is that we will move up/down before too long. I know this isn't sound TA but it just feels like the market wants to make a substantial move one way or the other.

Just one man's opinion, and to hell with all others! gg I'm not narrow minded, I have no mind!!!
