The difference between the Worst Lady and myself is I actually mean it for the children and not because I think it'll get me elected or provide a nice sound bite. And I don't think there's anything wrong with slowing down the process or making people stop and reflect about the consequences of divorce or even educating them as to the ramifications BEFORE the die is cast. I'm talking about no-fault type divorces, not the situation where there is abuse or neglect or some other good cause. I've seen what the divorce does up close and personal with my nephews and even when the parents stay relatively civil, it ain't pretty. JLA

Divorce is a contract, in which one undertakes certain responsibilities. Parenthood involves even more responsibility. Why treat the marital contract as an easily broken deal?
