I posted this on the RB thread and wondered if this astute group had an answer. Incidentally, I'm not trying to be cute. This is a real question, or as Dave Barry says, "I am not making this up."

Just to throw another rhetorical bomb at the thread to confuse things further, anybody understand currency fluctuation enough to understand what the effect on a ZI shareholder would be if (a) China devalues and (b) Hong Kong, which is pegged to the U.S. dollar, devalues?

ZICA --

Chinese Govt. is important, But do you know that which level of the Govt. is this deal signed with?

In case you don't know, there are Govt. officals that only in charge of a few blocks, a few villages, a few cities... and there are other so called "Govt." that is just a name and has no real power at all. Let me tell you the FACT:

A company with ZICA's size won't even meet a "village Govt"'s apptite! Even ERICY only deals with a province's goverment. Only the supersized forgein company can sign deals with centural goverment, ie, companies in the DOW30

And also, chinese is only interested in company that throw $$ at them, they have far more better technologies and just don't have $$ to implement those, esp. techology related to its own writing.

Enough said
