OJ: just look straight a head and trade what's in front of you not what you hear everyday...on SI & CNBC and all those wonderful Magazines and newspapers I just read your last two post to Matt...your over the top as usual...LOL...have another glass of wine, on me...<gg> I just got back from having my favorite...a pitcher of Margaritas on the rocks, with my bride. So, I am feeling a little OJ'ish tonight...<ggg> Isn't what he is reading from you...from SI? Guess I'll have to show up on IntelligentSpec.Com, maybe I can learn to trade via TA as well...<gg> Oh by the way, after you came on the MDA thread mid August and ditz the bears again...look what happened! The same thing happened after you ditz the bears on this thread at the end of last March. You're becoming a reliable indicator...<g> By the way, go to Matt's web site, there is a picture of him, I think he may at least your peer...<gg> You can find a link to his web site on the MDA Web Site. Matt: If you marry some traditional technical analysis with your statistical analysis you will do just fine. Hang around this thread and you will pick up some good TA and FA stuff, trust me, even though it "is" on SI. May I suggest learning to trade well via long and short stock positions before you go to options. If you are interested I will post my rules for trading. Regards, LG

This thread has preceeded the talking heads about market influences by weeks if not months and pointed out the why's and when of major market declines for a long time. Telling someone to ignore SI is ludicrous IMO. There are good threads in here. I will agree with you that the individual stock boards are mostly hype and worthless but there are some others that are very good and I believe this is one of the best. While I agree with you we have an upward bias, we are no where near being out of the woods yet and I think that if we get a rally, it could tire in a few weeks. I seem to recall this thread getting bashed for being bearish by someone in this room before the last two corrections. Maybe someone should listen to this thread more often???? Good Luck, Lee
