Insider Trading

From what i see, only one insider sold share recently

Adrian Hartog, he sold
1 millions in January the stock was up 60% during the month
1 million in July The stock lost about 25% during the month
He still hold 1 380 800

The 2 biggest shareholder haven't sold one share this year.

KY HO own about 9 millions shares
Lee Ka Lau own about 25 millions shares

Finally about the option in mid July to mid-August 707 600
options were exercise by insiders, about 10 peoples.

Marc & thread,

I agree nasdaq keeps beating the TSE for the last 3 yrs. Perhaps the problem is that there are too many bizzare stories in the canadian stocks. CDF (wild swings, Canadian real-estate supply is not great --- too much land, too few people :) Sorry, it's true. And read their annual report to see how much their CEO is paid as percentage of their profits.) and MGa (every time they start to behave, their founder comes up with another crazy scheme to glorify himself --- the story about his statue in austria is worth a read. I swear you'll break out in giggles when you get to the part about the 3 storey high 'modesty-cover' for the giant statue 'of himself').

But perhaps it is because of the crazies, that people try to shoot down each diamond that we think we find in the TSE.

Still, there are happy stories with TSE. When the S&P/TSE 60 was announced, I went over all 60 companies with a fine tooth comb and decided that T.VO, T.SJRB, T.TD, T.BCE,T.BNS was worth a closer look. I already held some SJR.B (the biggest exception to my profitable rule, for personal reasons), and ATY was my biggest holding back then.

Of course people who have tons of RIMM (T.RIM) are ecstatic too.

With the exception of bns the other stocks are doing pretty well. TD & SJRB are seeing some setback recently too, but overall, they're still up by a lot.

ATY is back to their price 1yr ago today. KY needs to show us the burning bush :( to lead us through the desert to the promised land.
