the yahoo board is full of responses from real losers.they sound like the most frustrated people in the world.
CA has just rcvd two upgrades..it sounds to me like the analysts must have spoken to the company..they had specific info. I think the stock is on the way to a new high...the drop after a 5 pt runup was to be expected..short term traders.the stock shows strength

spatz...if you keep bad mouthing the company....the stock will rise.... it's DH who is causing the retracement with all of his positive postings....

DH..... you are going to drive spatz out of his or her mind... he or she is trying to drive the price up and you are driving it down.... you are toying with the market DH, toying with it as if CA were your private plaything...

Edwarda....any thoughts??

Joel

babette spatz. Re: "My focus is really on the stock price." It might be wiser to think in terms of potential value in the future.

1) If you believe that only 5% of the servers have been built that will be needed for e-commerce, as Craig Barrett of Intel believes, and...

2) If you believe that all these servers will have to talk to each other, and...

3) People will need to buy software so servers using all kinds of OS's can talk to each other, and...

4) Computing power of mainframes will continue to grow as e-commerce increases, and...

5) Software companies, like CA, will be compensated for their intellectual property, by charging a fee as new servers or MIPS are brought on line...

Then ragging on a company for a few measly points on the stock price seems pretty short-sighted, doesn't it?
