Dan, the companies issue press releases covering SSS and other results. And I do like your pick of CC. What a nice drop today. . .on a ridiculous story . . .something about them having to "raise money" for their website. . . yeah, right. I will be there with you tomorrow looking for one more dip. CC is much like BBY. . .and moves in sympathy with BBY on a regular basis. . . SNE often moves with them. . . all have done really well. . .and the gains that BBY has shown in recent quarters have been astounding. . . .as seen by its chart. . . gorgeous. William pounded his keyboard on BBY about 7 or 8 months ago on this thread as a long-termer. . . boy, was he ever right. If I had a choice between the two for a long term hold, I would pick BBY. . .I just like everything about the store model. . .and am tired of shopping the CC model. But this is a near-term play on an oversell. . .so I can't let a subjective opinion get in the way. I don't know when earnings are due. . .you will need to check an earnings calendar for that. . .or look at their thread here on SI and see if it is posted. Gotta tell you about Best Buys latest commercial. . .kid is going off to college and his dad hands him the family computer to take with him away to school . . looks like a Pentium 100 with a 14" monitor . . he is thrilled. . .then the mom tells him to take the microwave, too. . . and the dad gives him their TV set. . .he says, OK. . and piles it into his car and heads off to school. . . the younger sister says, "hey, why'd you give away all our stuff?" . . . and the parents throw open the garage door to brand new gear bought at Best Buy. . . big screen Sony TV . . .multimedia HWP computer with big monitor. . .etc. LOL> . . .As they race to set it up, I think I heard one say something about how he was really going to miss them.
