I find your posts difficult to understand. If you are saying that Some day 2.4 GHZ will become ubiquitously deployable as a cellular service, if (Big if in my opinion) that day ever comes at minimum it is several years away. By then every major carrier in the world will have deployed CDMA or its variant. Moreover, 2.4 will not remain an unlicensed spectrum if that happens.

Qdog - It's in the unlicensed band of 2.4 GHz and we are told that it won't work in a cellularized fashion or a competitor to 3G CDMA; rah-rah!!

I say again - it is a potential threat to the current service providers, but I fail to see how it is a significant threat to Qualcomm. Enlighten me! (said with some humor, but also some seriousness)
