Thanks Osprey. Don't know if I've told you before, if so, I'm telling you again.

One of the greatest pictures, LOL I MISSED, and I had a 300mm f 2.8 with me....

I was fishing a tiny little brook trout lake, south of Kamloops, heard a screech, looked up,

there was an immature bald eagle flying along, an Osprey, with nest in sight about 1/2 mile away, had just dive bombed him and was now in a climb. As I was scrambling to get the big lens out of the case, the Osprey got altitude, and headed back down in a full dive,

just before he hit the eagle, the eagle turned on his back, talons extended, flying upside down, to fend off the Osprey, there was no actual collision, but arrrrghhh it was beautiful, but all over, by the time I got the lens on the camera body.

All was not lost picture wise for the day. I have an incredible shot, of a common loon, with a football shaped brookie, about 14", but probably a pound and a half, side ways, in his mouth, with water droplets coming off, both bird, and fish.

Next installment. The immature common loon, that took a Doc Spratley Fly, sunk deep, then tried to take my hand off, when I finally got her in, and attempted to take the hook, out of her tongue.. LOL, got that one on video.
