I have not gotten the new book yet, but I understand that they have coined a new "animal" that could cover some of the internet stocks. This definition came from an Email from Geoffrey Moore on the GG Digest Listserve.

Godzilla: Market leader in a transaction services market with NO proprietary architecture BUT WITH some other mechanism for creating switching costs. This is the subject of the new chapter in the revised Gorilla Game coming out this month.

Also, I think it is a good Idea for Teflon to split off the second thread to discuss this type of stock. It could cause this thread to get a bit off topic and broad. Just MHO. :)
