Those who believe that the Fed should not raise interest rates any higher may want to check out today's SI daily editorial. A clip from that editorial: << Without question, the story leading all the headlines this morning contained comments made by Fed Governor Ed Kelly, where he suggested that further rate hikes were plausible. Those who read the newsletter on a regular basis know that I have been a proponent of tighter monetary policy for some time. The three rate cuts last fall were reckless and if equilibrium is to be restored, at a minimum those three rate cuts needed to be reversed. >> BP
