syl, you're quite mistaken...

...if you think that the move to Antigua has ANY bearing on possible charges. The charges would focus on what Starnet was doing PRIOR TO the raid. They can all flee to Iraq for that matter, and it won't matter one whit. The officers, save for one, appear to be remaining in Canada. Also, there are US authorities involved that couldn't care less that some operations are moving to Antigua.

A buried premise in all this flight to Antigua hype on this board is that maybe if anything is REALLY wrong with Starnet, they are beyond the reach of North American authorities in Antigua. Are you saying if they go to Antigua they cannot be extradited? I certainly hope not.

The RCMP may have overreacted. There may be no charges, or only minor ones. But the move to Antigua has no bearing on any of this.
