HARMON on audioinvestor......AOL (NYSE: AOL) is like an iceberg according to Internet analyst and money manager Steve Harmon, CEO
of e-Harmon.com. While the public just sees the "top of the iceberg" when looking at AOL, in reality this
company has a very stable position deep into the Internet business world which many ignore.

AOL has millions of subscribers, but in reality is a well run service company - versus being a technology
company - so is somewhat protected from competition as management can "change gears" to meet changing
customer demand. Netscape.com and the Netscape browser also add bulk to the company, making in a
"massive" force to be dealt with.

DEALS KEEP ROLLING IN.......AOL inks new deals

America Online said it's reached a marketing agreement with retailer
Guess whereby AOL members will have access to the Guess (GES:
news, msgs) online store. Additionally, Guess will become part of the
online fashion marketplace at the ShopAtAOL, AOL.com, CompuServe
and Netscape shopping destinations.

But AOL deals didn't
stop there. Teen Web
site ITurf (TURF:
news, msgs) said it's
going to launch a new
area on America
Online.

ITurf (TURF: news,
msgs) targets
so-called Generation Y consumers between the ages of 10 and 24 with its
network of community, content and e-commerce Web sites. ITurf shares
closed unchanged at 11 9/16.

Howdy do Jon, mah Aunt in SF has been jumpin all around on diff free ISP's. She is now an expert on them and always comes back to AOL. Plus she likes the fact that she and I can do Instant Messages in real time as opposed to just email. I imagine there are a lot of folks with friends and family that feel the same way which should provide the so-called "stickiness" to AOL. I think it bodes well for AOL longs for sure. Good investin to you too, best regards, Dep
