Morning IKE what a wonderful story..amazing bright young talent there.. wonder where they get that from...their Mom???<G>.... about 2 months ago Judy using 2X4's kept saying it's THE SEMIS DUMMY....MAN WAS SHE AND YOU RIGHT... incredible group of solid stocks at the begining of an explosion of their product lines... nonoe of them have been hurt at all thur any of this selloff..NONE.... wonder where they'll be whwn we hit 3000 on the NAZ... my regards to you and the family...great stuff Ike...you have to be so proud...

Ike OT... Congratulations! I'll say it again your sons are amazing. I don't have any pictures from the party I'm afraid. I'm still kicking myself for not bringing a camera that night. Lifted my first leg and got out of my short oct 1230's, leaving the long puts in place, expecting a failure in next few sessions around 1355-65 area.. SOX DOT in place no need of fiddling with that the underlying are offsetting the move very well.

You will be pleased to know that Rehan Zain Zack all got admissions in the University, they had great interviews. The three of them are entering are starting in London from 20th Sept taking majors in Business studies and Information management systems.Zack will be 14 and 5 months and the Vice Chancellor told us that in last 70 years of the university record he will be youngest entrant, not falling too much behind is Zain who is 15 and 6 months and Rehan 16 and 7 months, they eldest is two years ahead and the yougest is going to ( God willing) come out university when his peers are just entering. I am very humbly thankful to GOd today, we had a dream we worked on it, got the kids out of the school trained them in the house and with Newsweek, Times, Business Week, FT and WSJ but that is what these University faculty was impressed with, the breadth of knowledge. The kind of questions raised were from bankruptcy of Daewo its impact on Korean economy to INTC new chips, not that all kids go through this kind of grilling the University wanted to be sure that they are mentally competent and ready to swim with the older guys. I thought you had spend solid two evenings withem and would enjoy these news as an Uncle..gg I am extremely happy man, last night as I was explaining my trades to them they had some brilliant ideas, the exit strategy is always important with the kind if trade I am in, it is first of all the believe in the market, you put your money to work on stocks like AMAT INTC SUNW IBM MU and LRCX LSI ALTR and than find a way to safegaurd your waning call premiums if the market starts moving in the other direction, it is here what I have always written come into play, if you spent 10 $'s on long calls spend 1$ on protection albeit to see it wasted time and again, now adays with long calls I have the ability to sell index covered calls and than use that to buy portection on broader S&P and smaller indexes. This is the way to swim with the sharks, every day to come here and discuss that market goes nowhere is nothing but waste of time, people who are cash remain in cash, this taking the jump is the first step parting from dear money, erosion of premiums the second although I am not being impacted as my stocks are performing too good like TXN INTC AMAT, however making money from volatility makes any good trader a top class act. I am not one yet, but my kids would be one I try to instill with these qualities of good education, integral element of ' acknowledging good deeds done to them by others that is always say 'thank you'. Entitlement, abuse and extreme jealousy I have seen in my life is strange and burns people. Integrity, honesty foresight fortitude and virtue are other key issues, in early part of our career I have written earlier also, there was this Jewish guy who would not like to retire even at 80, but he gave us some values highlighted, alongwith my father that guy stands as beacon in my tortous journey to find nirvana, an ordeal and long experience to discovering my ownself. This is his saying 'take what market gives you, don't expect returns'.. Make money through markets and not through your friends has remained my goal, keeping focus right and playing the markets without forming cabals or pre-positioning to look for $'s remains other fact that I try to promote. 'Complete Integrity, contained greed and contained fear' is my idea and recipe of a good trader.. Today will be another day I will be posting my strategies on my trades what you consider them as good the real test Prakash would be to close them and make profits from the long calls of individual equities the naked covered calls on indexes and the long puts and shrt put on SPU, to unravel this entangle is going to take a lot but in my opinion this formula does contain nearly every possible move, a big break and a bounce, a big bounce and a break a market that remains unchanged or a market that starts a bear move by goingthrough the 1250' support and test 1230 on the way to 1130... So all these parameters are taken into considerations before I put a trade on..
